Who We Are
One of the leading compression mould makers in North America.

LAVAL Tool & Mould Ltd. was founded by Larry Azzopardi in 1975.
Like so many other Essex County tool and mould entrepreneurs, Mr. Azzopardi learned the tooling trade through apprenticing as a tool maker before venturing out on his own. His dedication and focus on compression moulding allowed him to become a leading innovator in designing and building complex compression moulds.
Today, recognized as one of the leading compression mould makers in North America, with customers ranging from military and government applications (a designated Controlled Goods Manufacturer), to household products, recreational vehicles, heavy trucks and specialty vehicles.
LAVAL welcomes the challenge of solving customers’ manufacturing concerns and of producing the best quality products at the lowest cost in the shortest period of time. The company’s customer service record is legendary and we strive to improve our processes and procedures with every job awarded.
In 2009 the tool and mould shop transitioned to the leadership of his youngest son, Jonathon Azzopardi, with continued growth and diversified development currently operates as LAVAL.
